Learning Journey :D
We went to the mint museum of toys. It's the world's first purpose-built museum for toys.Any idea what mint stand for? Hmm...flavour,making of coins, looking new and in perfect condition. It stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys!It showcase a huge collection of vintage toys frm abt 44 coutries.Something special abt the toys : although they are toys as far back as 1840s, they look very new and in mint condition. It has a collection of 50 000 of toys but only 10% are displayed. They change their display every 3 mths. The rest of the toys were stored in 2 warehouse. There are 4 lvls- outerspace(lvl5), Characters(lvl4),childhood favs(lvl3) & collectables(lvl2). It is totally amazing! We saw many different types of toys which were played in past .Most new toys or cartoon charcters are modified/ get their ideas frm the old ones. The toys made frm the past were made frm many diff.materials. We also learnt many interesting fun facts abt toys like astro boy, mickey mouse, popeye...There are really many creative, nice, cute toys! Hahas:) I totally love it!
Next, we went to the LTA Gallery. The whole place was damm cool!!! I love it too!! They must spent a lot of money making it.We had an overview on LTA strategies to
manage the land transport system efficiently and effectively. We also learnt the challenges faced when Singapore first gained independence. Next, we entered a room where we had to make decisions to try to solve the transport problems in 2020. We sat on the F1 seats! Hahas:) Then, we take a look at the future -2030
